Arrival Instructions

Unbox immediately and inspect for any transit stress — soft leaves are normal.
Place in shaded, breezy space for 2-3 days.
Water gently with 1-2 liters to rehydrate roots.
Once the plant looks steady, plant it following the care steps below.

Expert Tip

To get larger, juicier fruit, thin flowers in early bloom, leaving space between clusters so the tree focuses energy on fewer, fuller pomegranates.

Planting And Care

Use soil mix of 40% garden soil, 30% compost, and 30% sand or coco peat.
Remove the plant from the pot, loosen outer roots, and soak in water 15-20 minutes before planting. Place it at the same depth as its nursery soil, fill in gently, and water deeply.

Sunlight

Choose a hot, sunny spot with 6-8 hours of direct light. Dig a 2x2 ft hole, or use a 20"+ pot with good drainage.

Watering

Young trees: Water every 3-4 days using 2-3 liters, poured slowly around the base.
Mature trees: Deep water once a week with 7-10 liters.
Check soil moisture 2 inches deep — if dry, it's time to water. Always water early morning or evening and mulch the base to conserve water.

Fertilizing

Feed with balanced fertilizer (NPK 10-10-10) in spring and after fruiting.
Boost with compost or cow manure in March and September.

Pruning

Light pruning in winter helps air flow and shape.
Remove inner growth and weak or dead branches.

Weather Protection

Wrap young stems in cloth during cold January nights.
During summer, apply mulch and water more deeply to handle heat stress.
