Covered under our Alive & Thrive GuaranteeUnbox your plant and place it in a bright but indirect light spot.
Avoid direct sun or dark, unventilated corners.
Let the plant rest for 2–3 days before watering.
Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to restore shine.
ZZ Plants love to be left alone. If in doubt, don’t water.
Use a well-draining mix: 50% potting soil, 25% perlite or sand, 25% coco peat.
Repot only when the plant becomes root-bound (every 2-3 years). Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent rot.
Place in low to medium indirect light. Avoid harsh sun as it may burn the leaves. North- or east-facing rooms work best.
Let the soil dry completely before watering again.
Water every 10-14 days in summer, every 20-30 days in winter.
Overwatering is the only way to kill a ZZ Plant - always check soil with your finger.
Feed with a balanced indoor plant fertilizer every 8 weeks during active growth (March-September).
No need to fertilize in winter.
Wipe leaves monthly to remove dust.
Remove yellowing or damaged stalks at the base.
Rotate plant every few weeks for even growth.
