Boston Ferns thrive when they "feel the air" — keep them where there's good air circulation but no direct wind or fan. That’s how they grow naturally in shaded forests.
Use well-aerated soil with peat moss, compost, and sand. Ideal mix: 40% peat, 40% compost, 20% perlite/sand
Boston Ferns prefer filtered sunlight or bright shade. Avoid harsh sun. Best placed near east or north-facing windows, covered verandahs, or in humid rooms like kitchens or baths.
Keep the soil evenly moist, but never soggy
Water every 3-5 days in summer, and every 7-10 days in winter
Use filtered water or rainwater if possible
Feed with diluted liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks in growing season (March-October)
Avoid over-fertilizing to prevent salt buildup
