Arrival Instructions

Unbox right away and inspect the plant — minor wilting is normal.
Let it sit in shady open air for 2-3 days.
Water with 1-2 liters to rehydrate.
Once stable, follow the planting steps below.

Expert Tip

For sweeter arils and bigger fruit, remove excess flowers early so the tree puts more energy into fewer, higher-quality pomegranates.

Planting And Care

Mix 40% soil, 30% compost, 30% sand or coco peat.
Remove from nursery pot, loosen roots, and soak root ball for 15-20 mins. Plant at original depth, firm soil around base, and water deeply.

Sunlight

Choose a sunny, warm spot with 6+ hours of light daily. Use a 2x2 ft hole or 20"+ pot.

Watering

Proper watering ensures healthy fruit.
Young plants: Water every 3-4 days with 2-3 liters, poured slowly around roots.
Mature trees: Water deeply once a week with 7-10 liters.
Check soil with your finger — water when top 2 inches are dry. Water in morning or evening, and mulch to retain moisture.

Fertilizing

Apply balanced fertilizer (NPK 10-10-10) in spring and after fruiting.
Boost with compost or cow manure in March and September.

Pruning

Light pruning in late winter helps shape the tree.
Remove dead, weak, or crossing branches.

Weather Protection

In cold zones, wrap the trunk in cloth during January nights.
During peak summer, water deeply and use mulch to reduce stress.
